NVIDIA, the world leader in accelerated compute, complements HPE’s long-standing reputation for delivering enterprise-grade servers and storage solutions that are scalable, secure, reliable — supported by an industry leading support and services organization. Together, these two companies have built solutions for both enterprise simplicity and for large-scale AI deployments at service providers and AI model builders.
Today, HPE and NVIDIA are proud to announce the expansion of the NVIDIA AI Compute by HPE partnership. Originally announced at HPE Discover in 2024 by Jensen Huang and Antonio Neri, the program brings the people, technology, and economics to support organizations in their AI journeys.
As part of the NVIDIA AI Compute by HPE, Antonio Neri and Jensen Huang pledged to have time-to-market support for all new NVIDIA platforms. The latest, announced at NVIDIA GTC conference, is the Blackwell 300 accelerator. Organizations with the most intensive AI model development and training are hungry for the level of scale provided in the Blackwell solutions.
New today the next generation of capability from HPE and NVIDIA, including support for the Blackwell GPU, the next generation of their turnkey AI factory, HPE Private Cloud AI that brings performance, sustainability, security and improvements across any size AI deployment, and an expansion of the full AI factory portfolio. The portfolio now includes a range of solutions from a completely turnkey offering for traditional enterprises to validated, customizable solutions for model building enterprises, service providers, and sovereigns. All provide fully integrated infrastructure, software, control plane and services guiding the user to value faster without the burden of navigating the stack and filling in the gaps on their own.
- AI factory (HPE Private Cloud AI) for general enterprises oriented around genAI and agentic AI.
- AI factory at scale specifically designed for model-building enterprises and service providers who need multi-tenancy and the ability to scale their AI beyond a single use case or line of business.
- Sovereign AI factory brings access to critical data sets, technologies, expertise, orchestration, and infrastructure to sovereign entities within defined borders.
The All-New HPE Private Cloud AI
At the forefront of NVIDIA AI computing by HPE is a portfolio of enterprise AI solutions driving AI productivity: HPE Private Cloud AI. HPE builds these solutions on a platform of NVIDIA accelerated compute, NVIDIA software AI-optimized ProLiant servers, integrated HPE storage and HPE software, so that enterprises have a complete turnkey system. This leap-frogs HPE’s customers ahead in the AI deployment lifecycle, so that HPE and NVIDIA’s co-developed AI solutions are transforming enterprise AI deployments from experiments into real business tools.
What’s New
- All new scalable hardware configurations with HPE ProLiant Gen12 compute integrated with NVIDIA’s latest GPUs: NVIDIA GPUs bring an unprecedented level of speed and efficiency to the platform, offering twice the performance of previous generations. HPE complements this performance with advanced security, performance and sustainability features in the HPE ProLiant Compute family. This includes FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification, NIST compliance, and quantum-resistant CNSA 2.0 capabilities, up to 2X GPU acceleration, 7:1 data center consolidation, and 65% power savings These protections ensure that sensitive data remains secure, even in industries like finance, defense, and healthcare, where cybersecurity is paramount.
- Federated architecture to support future GPU generations: Unlike systems that require costly and disruptive upgrades, HPE Private Cloud AI is introducing modular expansion racks, allowing businesses to scale their AI infrastructure regardless of compute generation or GPU architecture. This means enterprises can start with the resources they need today and expand seamlessly as their AI demands grow. The platform’s federated architecture enables unified resource pooling ensuring new compute and GPU capacity to be instantly available to all workloads with share resource pooling and simplifying operations. With this level of scalability, HPE and NVIDIA are ensuring that businesses can adapt to the future without compromising their current investments.
- Air-Gapped deployments for organizations with sovereign data requirements: This feature eliminates exposure to external networks, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected and inaccessible to unauthorized users. By operating independently of external connections, this ai gapped version of HPE Private Cloud AI guarantees uninterrupted service while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. It’s a critical tool for organizations seeking to innovate without compromising security. HPE customers in financial services and foreign nations with strict data governance requirements are both excited to have this capability.
- Fostering Enterprise Collaboration through Multi-Tenancy: HPE and NVIDIA understand that innovation thrives on collaboration. That’s why HPE Private Cloud AI introduces enterprise-wide multi-tenancy capabilities. This feature enables businesses to securely share resources across teams while maintaining control over data access, GPU quotas, and project permissions. Whether it’s creating AI models, analyzing data, or deploying new applications, this feature ensures that organizations can work together more effectively while maintaining the security and efficiency of their shared infrastructure.
- More Pre-validated AI Use Cases for fast time-to-deploy: HPE Private Cloud AI has expanded its ecosystem to include dozens of pre-validated AI use cases, enabling businesses to deploy solutions faster and with less risk. These use cases span industries and applications, from fraud detection, digital human interfaces and video summarization to document generation, drug discover, security operations, and more.
HPE and NVIDIA have also partnered with leading Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) as part of the Unleash AI partner program to bring industry leading use cases from partners like AI21 Labs, Dataiku, and Crowdstrike, and dozens more. Ensuring that enterprises have access to the best tools and frameworks for their AI initiatives. This growing ecosystem is a testament to the partnership’s commitment to customer success and innovation.
HPE OpsRamp: Validated for NVIDIA Enterprise Reference Architectures for 3rd-party AI factories
HPE is championing multi-vendor, AI-native full-stack observability as a critical enabler of AI success. That’s why OpsRamp’s has now been validated as part of the NVIDIA AI factory ecosystem—to observe AI using AI. This approach not only monitors infrastructure across compute, network, and storage, but reasons across them to surface insights, accelerate resolution, and continuously optimize performance—regardless of vendor. It’s how HPE is making AI operations truly intelligent for everyone.
HPE is proud to stay in lock-step with NVIDIA to bring customers the latest technology advances, and is announcing the HPE Compute XD690 compute node, supporting eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra B300s. In addition, HPE works closely with NVIDIA to offer the full NVAIE suite including NIMs and high-speed networking.
HPE Performance Cluster Manager adds fully integrated systems management and advanced infrastructure monitoring and alerting across large, complex AI environments that scale to thousands of nodes.
