KIOXIA Showcases Flash Storage Powering AI and Scalable Infrastructure at Dell Technologies World 2025
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 16, 2025 — KIOXIA America, Inc., the inventor of NAND flash memory, will be at Dell Technologies World next week to demonstrate how its innovative solid state drives (SSDs) and memory solutions are simplifying AI adoption, accelerating data-driven workloads, and enabling more efficient, scalable IT infrastructure. KIOXIA will highlight its newest SSD offerings built with the company’s 8th generation BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory—such as the 122.88 TB high-capacity LC9 Series and the high-performance, low-power CM9 Series—alongside live technology and application demonstrations featuring PCIe 5.0, EDSFF, and 24G SAS (SAS-4).
At Dell Technologies World 2025, the spotlight is on breakthrough infrastructure technologies that help transform bold ideas into real-world innovation. KIOXIA’s best-in-class SSDs are engineered to accelerate application performance, reduce total cost of ownership, and lower SSD power consumption. These technologies are essential to enabling next-generation workloads, including AI and advanced analytics, that demand fast, reliable access to massive volumes of data.

Demonstrations will be located in the KIOXIA booth #531 on the show floor at The Venetian Resort from May 19 – 22 and include:
- KIOXIA CM9 Series PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs running a FIO workload
- KIOXIA CD8P Series PCIe 5.0 NVMe Data Center SSDs running Aerospike Database on a Dell PowerEdge Server
- KIOXIA 122.88 terabyte LC9 Series NVMe SSDs showing fast retrieval of large datasets
- KIOXIA CM7 Series Enterprise U.2 NVMe SSDs running on a Dell PowerFlex and Nutanix Cloud Platform
At the event, KIOXIA will conduct a breakout session titled, “Accelerate Innovation with Next-Generation Dell PowerEdge Servers and KIOXIA SSDs.” This joint presentation with Dell Technologies will take place on Monday, May 19 at 3:00pm. KIOXIA will also conduct a live technical session titled, “KIOXIA Open-Source Projects to Enhance RAG AI Solutions and Data Placement.” Focused on how new technologies from KIOXIA can enable scalability and enhanced endurance for SSD based applications, this session will take place on Tuesday, May 20 at 3:00pm.
Additionally, Neville Ichhaporia will be featured in a Dell Technologies World live interview on Tuesday, May 20 at 11:30am.
