Christine Yen and her Honeycomb co-founder, Charity Majors, are no stranger to the suffering of software engineers. While working together at a previous job, they struggled to get the data they needed to properly debug the applications they were building.

Rather than suffer in silence, they did what an untold number of engineers have done before them: They decided to build a solution to the problem. I turned out that the observability tool they built at Honeycomb resonated with the market.
